Mission

What is Koinonia?

We are Koinonia. We are called and chosen by God, a generation set apart; ambassadors of Christ. We have a burning fire in our hearts to live for God and express the love of Jesus.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

1 Peter 2:9

New copy to read: ‘Koinonia’ is an English transliteration of the ancient Greek word κοινωνία. Most of the epistles in the New Testament were written in Greek. The word ‘Koinonia’ appears multiple times where in English we read ‘communion’ or ‘fellowship’.

Our fellowship – Koinonia – lives under the Living Faith Community Church network. It is one of the many parts of the body of Christ. We engage in meaningful Koinonia with each other as we deepen our relationship with God through the salvation of Jesus Christ, guided by Holy Spirit.

We each have a God-given purpose and authority. Koinonia seeks to provide genuine discipleship and community on the journey to discovering what God has called and chosen us to do for Him.

that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship  is  with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Declaration

At Koinonia we collectively share a gospel-centred vision to serve God wholeheartedly with an authentic capacity to minister to a wide range of communities across the globe.

Our purpose is to create a mission-driven community that will disciple and enrich others to have an intimate relationship with Christ. Our hope is to witness every prophetic promise come to pass.

Our heart is to facilitate personal and spiritual growth so that each member can reach their full potential. In doing so, we encourage natural connections and cross-generational discipleship with a focus to form genuine (lasting) relationships.

Our culture is to embrace unity in diversity, indeed  there are  many members, yet one body (1 Cor 12:20). Our approach empowers members to discover their differing gifts (Rom 12:6) and develop them for the edifying of the body (Eph 4:12).

Our mandate is to take a generation for the church of Jesus Christ and to bring a greater move of His Spirit for such a time as this. We want to prepare and equip members to operate in the power of the anointing, prophetic and Word of God.

We value life, we value purpose, we value hope. Come as you are and begin what can only be described as an incredible journey of faith.

Together we can impact a generation!

Be a part of Konionia now!
